Barney's Bend Bugle, published by Barney Lerten, wants every reader to be able to enjoy the news. We're a small operation, but we're committed to making this site as accessible as we reasonably can.

What we aim for

• Text that's large and high-contrast enough to read comfortably.
• Photo captions and credits on our stories and photo galleries.
• A layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops.
• Links and buttons you can use with a keyboard or screen reader.

Room to improve

We're a one-editor newsroom, so some things may not be perfect — older photos may lack descriptions, and embedded maps or documents from outside sources may not be fully accessible. If something on the Bugle gets in your way, we want to hear about it.
